Verena and I have bought a ticket for a bus tour. Very tourist-standard we sat up in a double-decker bus, the information we have heard from a trip leader and diligently snapped pictures. And here are some impressions for you:

In the bus we were given a booklet with coupons. Among other things, for the well-known Chicago-popcorn.

The popcorn with caramel one had the feeling that you would suck a caramel candy, caramel over there was so much cheese and popcorn were really ... shall we say ... interesting: D
We have only received a small bag, and even that was much too much for us. But since gabs real people who have eaten riiiiießen bags full ... Well, Americans just!
The good was on the bus tour that you could get out of the 16 major points in the city to get a closer look at the place and was able to jump on the next bus back. So I got

Then we met again with the other group to eat dinner at Subway and then insert another short stop at our hostel before we went to NEN Club.

The small problem with our hostel was, unfortunately, that we had none for the second night: D
The girls from Spain were actually responsible for the booking of the hostel, but somehow they were too late and we were able to sleep only the first night in our hostel. The second night we were on the road so to speak! Since the weekend the festival and a marathon in Chicago took place was all crowded and $ 200 for one night we had a bit too much! That's just a night out was announced.
Thank God we could leave our luggage in a room in a hostel, so we did not have to bear with us.
And so we went after a small break in the hostel to the Chicago nightlife.

Our bus drove up at half past seven restored from Chicago back to Cincinnati and after such a sleepless weekend should simply take no more pictures! : D
But ultimately, I can say that it was a very nice weekend! Chicago is a beautiful city! Rießengroß, hectic but very clean. There are beautiful homes, breathtaking skyline and even the occasional flowers and trees. The people are all very nice and friendly and I must say I am somewhat in love with this city!
And I will not necessarily come a time here here!
