Chicago
On Thursday it was finally time. I went along with 13 others with NEM bus to Chicago. The company rode the Megabus-Company and is making very little money for travel to America.
But of course, the bus will not get away from Portsmouth and it was Suzy (left) so us two hours fond of driving to Cincinnati to drive
One last German chocolate as a tonic for the long drive
I, Trista and Verena
As we warm up in Cincinnati still had to wait for the bus, we crept to the Hilton hotel to ourselves. And as you can imagine, we were in our clothes in this Nobeschuppen course not: D
Verena and I in front of our bus:)
And after a 6 hour bus ride We finally arrived in the morning at half past 7 in Chicago and then of course, was the first time a coffee needed
I, Roxi and Verena. All still a bit sleepy
Woooohooo .... Finally in Chicago!

I and Kristian
After we had delivered our luggage in the first hostel was at the first big highlight! The Sears Tower!
It is with 140m the tallest building in America and the top is a glass viewing platform. Usually you have to wait up to 3 hours in order to get high, but since we were all so early, we were even the very first was up and the outlook for the first time alone enjoy:)
There were small glass viewing platforms in the stand you could and could then look through the glass back on the road beneath him!
Ali, Gula, me and Sara up .... of Simply stunning!

And so you have a better idea of winning, here's a small movies:
After the Sears Tower, we made our way on foot in the Millennium Park and so we had the opportunity and the city a little closer look ...
The whole weekend was great weather. (I even almost got a sunburn), and so we lay down a bit in the park and enjoyed the sun and the Chicago skyline
And it was a bit "grubalad" as my dad always says: )
For all non-Schwaben, or those who do not understand Ertingerisch "grubala" so much as doze
means also was at this weekend festival in Millennium Park, which played many good bands have we We of course also did not want to miss.
is in Millennium Park, the famous Cloud Gate
And so the whole thing looks like from the inside ...
And of course, were shot many funny pictures ...
The S-Bahn in Chicago, is partially built on stilts and drives such as directly on the streets of Chicago ...

Ali and Verena study the map ... Sometimes not so easy!
I and Verena evening on the way to the restaurant
Gula, Sara, Verena, Ali and Trista
really hard to believe, but this time we have even a Restaurant found in which there were healthy food! And then there were the same for me, of course, sometimes chicken with potatoes and vegetables ...
... but the others remained but rather at the altbewärten Riessen burgers
and a super-cheesy pizza! : D
After dinner in the restaurant then we ran our first night in Chicago Millennium Park in the end. The weather was really nice, you could still sit easily with a thin sweater on a bench and enjoy the skyline of Chicago ...
The beautiful Chicago night
